Matty, Who would have thought, 15 years ago when we first met back in year nine home group, that we would have ended up standing re today, finally becoming husband and wife.

It certainly was not love at first sight, but I knew from the first day we met, that you were someone special, and although it was another five years before we did start dating, it was the best friendship I have ever known. Now, 10 years later and you are still my best friend and my biggest supporter, I will always be there to laugh with you and at you, to lift you up when you’re down, and to love you unconditionally, through all our adventures in life.

Matt, you have helped me though the hardest time of my life, going though dialysis and my transplant, I am eternally grateful to have had you there by my side, holding my hand and being the constant, I needed when all I could do was wait.

I promise to make you smile every day and to love you no matter what else life throws at us I promise to be there for you when times are great and when the times get tough I also promise to always microwave your hot chocolates and not recite every word of every friends episode.

You are the person who makes me the happiest, if I am having a bad day, I think of you and it will make me smile. All you need to do is walk into a room and my world becomes a brighter place. I am so proud to have had the opportunity to grow up with you and experience life with you, both as a friend and as your partner.

We all know I am a terrible decision maker, but damn I’ve made the best decision of my life, to stand here today with you. I am so excited to enter this new chapter of our lives and create new memories together, and begin our family. I love you.

Deciding to spend the rest of my life with you was the easiest decision I’ve ever made.

You make me laugh, you are patient and kind and take care of me. You are always ready to pull me into line when it’s required, which is more often than I’d like to admit!

You’re my best friend, my soul mate, my happy place, my eating companion and my rock. I promise to love you unconditionally for today and all of the days after that, even when we have to watch Movies with subtitles because you prefer to listen to the movie then just watch it.

I promise I will always be here to hold you when you need to be held. To Love you when you need to be loved. To care for when you need to be cared for. In sickness or in health, in good times or bad, The bad being when I'm cooking dinner and use every dish, pan and utensil in the house when I'm cooking a so called 1 pot meal.

I can not wait to see what the future holds for us and life's climb, even though you despise hikes. What ever happens I know I have you and you have me. I love you, it's the best thing that I'll ever do.

I honestly struggled to write these vows, not because I don’t have anything to say about my love for you, but because I felt like no words that I could write would describe the way I feel about you.

Asha, 13 years ago you captured my heart and since then you have shown me a life full of fun, excitement and adventure, and a love that I never thought possible.

You have helped me become the person I am today and I feel grateful every day that you have chosen me to spend the rest of your life with. I love how kind, thoughtful, selfless and empathetic you are and I love the way you make the people around you feel important, appreciated and understood.

One of my favorite things you do that brings a smile to my face is when you can seamlessly rap Popstar by Drake in the car and fire up with absolute conviction if I pitch in and stuff up the slightest bit.

I love your perfectly timed Friends quotes making any situation friggin hilarious or when I see my phone light up and it’s a GIF that could not have been chosen better for whatever moment were in. And though I might complain, I even love the cute way you fall asleep on the couch every night by 9.00 pm and miss like the whole episode of whatever we are watching.

Ashley, you are not just my partner, you are my best friend and my home. Wherever we are, if I’m with you, everything just feels right. You remind me everyday, that It’s not a place, but a person that feels like home. As your husband, I promise to always respect you, be true to you, and never take you for granted.

I will be your biggest supporter, encourage you to follow your dreams, and always be sure to ask you, “How you doin?” I promise to be the best husband I can be — to do all the stuff neither of us wants to do, when I know that you really, really don’t want to do it a lot more than I really, really don’t want to do it.

I promise to be your player two while playing Zombies on Xbox, to always let you go on my shoulders for the last song at a Trophy Eyes concert, and to be your protector from rats and mice that seem to find their way into our house.

Through every season of our marriage, I’ll be there for you. Most of all, I promise to love and cherish you with all of my heart and ask that you be no one other than yourself.

Today, as we begin our lives as husband and wife, I give you all that I am and all that I shall become. I love you Ashley and I look forward to falling more in love with you every day for as long as I live.

Bryce, 14 year old Ashley is loosing her mind right now.

How on earth is the lanky, big haired, bundy drinking 15 year old who asked her out all those years ago, standing in front of her today, about to become her husband. How is it that we have grown up together, yet never strayed into paths so foreign from each other. How is it that I manage to continue living with you, even though you find it completely impossible to wipe down the kitchen bench after using it.

Bryce, you are honest to god the most hard working, hilarious, and adventurous bloke I know. Although at times I find these said adventures exhausting and meet them with the occasional eye roll, they are always inspiring and your willingness to give anything a go, never ceases to amaze me.

The most frustrating thing about you is that there isn’t a bad bone in your body. I honestly can’t recall a day in our relationship where you have been angry at me. I swear to god, I could cut holes in all of your socks, and I’m sure you would smile at me and say ‘that’s OK honey, we all have bad days’.

You are always challenging me to be the best version of myself, and encourage me to seek new challenges. Some of these challenges, have turned out to be some of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I owe them to you.

Bryce, I promise to always be your best mate. To listen to your stories that you have most likely already told me three times before. To always be there to support your latest venture, even if it means you won’t be home for a few weeks. I promise to always try my hardest to revive you when we’re playing zombies, even if you are the one letting the team down. I promise to continue quoting Friends episodes at least twice a day, every day.

But most importantly, I promise that I will try to be the best wife I possibly can, even on the days it’s tougher than others. I will stand by you when times get tough, until we can’t stand anymore, and then I will sit by you, in a comfy chair, watching re-runs of 90’s sitcoms.

I honestly believe there is no feeling more incredible than getting to hang out with your best mate every day, and I can’t wait to experience the rest of our every days, together.

Bryce, I am so stoked that today, I have the honour of becoming your wife and best mate forever, in front of everyone we love. I love you, you great hunk of spunk.

Rachel, I can’t believe it’s nearly 8 years to the day when we met each other at a Knight Frank Christmas Party. I will always remember how you captured my attention, and I knew from that day forward you were someone special.

But what I didn’t know is that I had met my soul mate. You are true to yourself and never concerned about what other people think. A quality I admire and one of the many I love. Yes, there are many….

I love the way you always put your family and friends first. I love that you always see the good in people, no matter what. I love your sense of humour and the constant banter we have. It’s the best. I love the connection we share, and we when we are together, nothing else Matters.

But most of all, I love you for putting up with me and supporting me no matter what. Even when I may have left something important to the last minute, or decide to pick up another new hobby which takes up even more time.

Knowing you always have my back and will always support me is the best. I don’t need anything in the world but you and me. You will aways be my best friend and I know that together we can achieve any goal we set.

Rachel, I promise to be the best husband I can be, even if that means learning to put things back in their spot and trying to think more than 2 weeks in advance. And I promise to always fill you in on what happened in the movie if you fall asleep during the important bits.

But most of all, I promise to love you with all of my heart and look after you always. Rachel, I know that together we make the best team and together we will succeed at anything we put our minds to.

I can’t wait to explore the world and grow old with you because I know each day will only get Better.
